It’s August

The month I’ve dreaded/anticipated for the whole year is finally here. In all her humid, high-temperatured glory, she arrived over the weekend. And apparently she brought with her the heartburn I’d been missing out on all this time. A great deal of hip pain. Swelling legs (in addition to the already-swollen feet). Perhaps a summer cold? All of which lead up to a good case of the “don’t get much sleeps”.

Here’s hoping this stage doesn’t last long!

Seriously, no comments from the peanut gallery about “if you think you’re not getting sleep now … ” Seriously. Do you think I don’t know that?

  1. I promise, even when you have to get up and feed a baby in the middle of the night, the sleep is BETTER and HARDER!=) Here’s to a QUICK August for both of us…

    • THANK YOU, Tasha!! You’re actually the second person to tell me that today. And oddly enough, that comment came from moms both times!

  2. I’d agree, the worst sleep in my life was while pregnant, not breastfeeding. 😛 You’ll be fine. Hang in there!

  3. haha – love the peanut gallery comment 🙂

I’ve been dreading August too. I got some kind of summer cold over the weekend but I think the worst is behind me.

How exciting that she’s almost here! This time next month will be sooooo different for you and Kyle!
