I work in a church office. Lately, we’ve been doing a lot of renovations to the facilities at this church. Today, even as I’m typing this, there are guys with welding torches, saws, hammers, drills, and big vacuums replacing the door to my office.

The PolksThis is my family. And, even though we didn't know (s)he was with us at the time, this is all four of us! :) (Photographer/Friend Sydney swears she knew it on the day of the photo shoot.) :) Kyle is my hubby. He's a musician and a strong provider for our family. He is loyal, selfless, endlessly creative, driven, hopeful, and a great drummer, father, and husband. He loves music more than anything -- and playing music is his favorite. We are high school sweethearts who have been married since 2004. Ivalee is our firstborn - born in August 2009. She is spunky, smart, opinionated, sweet, hard-headed, charming, and loves to play dress-up in anything from Princesses to Pirates to Farmers. She loves reading and Disney movies. And we are excited to be able to add to the brood in November of this year!
